Oleon’s Cooling Process Upgrade with SHINEHEAT Plate and Shell Heat Exchanger
Oleon, a global leader in oleochemical production, specializes in creating sustainable solutions from renewable resources like vegetable oils and fats. One of the key products in their portfolio is Glycerolmono-oleate, known for its wide application in personal care, lubricants, and other industries. In their manufacturing process, Glycerolmono-oleate is cooled from a high temperature of 140°C down to 80°C, using cooling mediums such as cooling water or tower water.
Previously, Oleon relied on the Vahterus 2HA-102/3/1 fully welded plate and shell heat exchanger for this process. However, due to aging equipment, they sought a more durable and efficient solution. SHINEHEAT stepped in, offering their SPS-02HH46-80W Plate and Shell heat exchanger as a direct replacement for the worn-out Vahterus model.
